<p dir="auto">Other than for shock value, what was the point of making Dil transgender? It wasn't a movie about transgender people or even about Dil's life. So wouldn't it have basically been the same movie, minus the shock value, if Dil had been a biological female? I don't have a problem with Dil being transgender, I just couldn't figure out the point of it in this movie. Any thoughts?</p>
