We haven't made much effort to develop alternative energy sources. Other countries are way ahead of us. 40% of Germany's energy comes from green energy sources and they expect a lot more in the next decade. We don't even come close.

We did start decades ago but the technology just isnt there yet. In the meantime however idiots on the left are trying to **** down conventional energy production before we even have alternatives. It still requires more energy overall to produce wind and solar collectors than what they are capable of producing during their lifespans. That means that they are all a waste of resources at this point.

Why don't we just start developing alternative energy sources so we don't need to rely on any foreign oil? If we started doing that decades ago we then wouldn't be in this mess.
