Paula Marshall was beautiful. Maybe they could have made her a better cenobite but she was awesome.

At first I thought she would've been better without the cigarette in her throat as well. If she didn't have it I would've confused her for the female cenobite from the first two films since they look almost exactly alike so now I don't mind it too much. I did think the cameraman and CD throwing cenobites were kind of cheesy, though. They made me miss Butterball, the Chatterer, and the Female Cenobite from the first two.

You forgot the CD man, he was 10x stupider than the cameraman and smoking cenobite.

Even Pinhead admits that they're shadows of his former troopers, but as he says, overeager. So, it is made obvious.

I kind of liked it.
Usually in horror films that have millions of sequels, the first one or two are genuine attempts at horror. Eventually though, people are just coming to see the villain, so they end up making the films more whacky and they end up becoming attempts at humour.
It works better in some franchises than in others, but I think Doug Bradley (a bit like Robert Englund as Freddy) has such a charisma about him that he can pull off the scray aspect of the films, but even the silly ones can be fun. I was laughing my head off when that DJ guy turned up and start lobbing CDs everywhere.

I just noticed she had a sexy outfit, but in the film you could only see it for half a second.

There was never any chance of a darkly beautiful or threatening cenobite in this movie. They all had awful gimmicks except Pinhead himself.

The scene with the cenobites chasing Joey down the street was unbelievably stupid, especially the CD-throwing DJ hahaha! What a joke.
