I wish his character had been in the whole movie. Jon Lovitz was so funny. He deserved more screen time. Ernie could have dropped in from time to time, watched a game or two, and made his funny comments. Kinda sad that he was only in the beginning and not in the big inning.

I find it's easy to overdose on Jon Lovitz. I think he had the right amount of screentime to leave you wanting more without overdoing it.

Agreed he was great..by all,accounts he had loads of screen time before they cut his part right back, so he may well have been in It a lot. Sadly doubt we will ever see it restored.
