Just finished watching this for about the 20th time. OMG what a great movie! Love this scene:
When Vinny initially meets with his cousin about representing him:
Bill (Vinnys cousin): But you graduated law school six years ago what have you been doing since?
Vinny: Studying. For the bar.
Bill: That's a lot of studying.
Vinny: Well, to be honest with you, I didn't pass it my first time out.
Bill: That's ok, you probably passed it the second time.
Vinny: Nope.
Bill: Third time's the charm?
Vinny: Not for me it wasn't. For me, six times was the charm.

Yeah, and in the MCV trivia notes, it is revealed that the title role was initially offered to Jim Belushi, who turned it down. Imagine how quickly the film would have gone to video and been immediately forgotten if Pesci had not taken the role.
