(cont.) when the sweet, old grandpa turns into a scheming, manipulative person who reads Meg Ryan's diaries and tries to mimic her personality, faking love for the husband of the woman he is impersonating, even has sex with him though he was not gay, that's ..really extreme. Plus the cold stare when Alec Baldwin confronts him/her, it was almost sociopathic and dangerous for a few minutes.
And then by the end of the movie, he turns into a sweet, harmless old man again and is willing to get into his own body. The whole thing was a bit weird for a romantic film.

Exactly my thoughts!
And thenhey, this guy was really isolated ( in his way)
Was he was surprised to live through each day ?
***I was in my twenties when I first saw this
Now I am in my fiftiesWOW!
Of course Everything is different and I wonder and try not to freak out about the far? future.
Oh my what will that be like?
Or
Will tomorrow be my last day?
Or
Will I wake up tomorrow?
Yow!!!
Just taking that brief mind trip was intense
Now I imagine having a second chance like that man
How quick would I be to give it up?
Sweet Providence, I hope and pray I would do the right thing, quickly
