Amazing how David Pierce, IMO, really does look like he could be a bro or family member of Kels which I never saw before.

I can remember having my doubts about it when it was announced that there was going to be a spinoff, but I can also remember thinking it was definitely a hit after watching the first episode.

What a super great show the spin off of Cheers became!

It wasn't everyone's cup of tea. It did air for a long time though.
Many did like it, so it's safe to say it was a hit for a good reason.
Having been one of my favorite shows, I'll reserve judgement until I check the new one out. Sometimes, no matter how great the ensemble was, they just can't recapture the past magic in these reboots. They are going to need good writing… hopefully, as good as before. Hard to find these days.
