I know most of the show was shot in Hollywood on studio sets, with just stock footage of NYC thrown in, and an occasional shot actually in NYC, but it seems like the last couple of seasons they did a lot more on locations shots in NYC. Anyone know the reason for this? Why the sudden change? Perhaps it was because it was after 9/11, they decided to do it?
