I hven't seen most of these episodes since the show went off the air. I get a channel that's been airing NYPD Blue now and it's almost like watching for the first time. I forgot Daniel Benzali appeared as a defense attorney for Captain Fraker's trial.
Isn't he just awesome? I forgot how compelling he is to watch. And in his own way he's very appealing and sexy in an offbeat, other wordly way. Well, Jill St. John used to date Henry Kissinger! There's something strangely magnetic about a brooding intensity and sharp intellect.
I think he's amazing.

He didn't represent Andy; more like he made a fool of him on the stand! Sinclair did represent Janice in her murder trial when she and John went off the show! ;-/

Didn't he also represent Andy in the first or second season when he was on trial?

Sinclair vs. Martens (early Season 11) was a vintage scene.

I just can't believe how old he looks. I think he was only in his 50s during the initial run, but he easily looks almost 70. But what a great character, especially the way he gets under Sipowicz's skin.
