Never been a fan of X-Files. Though Ive been a UFO Believer. I guess I didnt like Neither David nor Gillian at first Glance. They started giving this throw back series on tv a channel I watch often. I left one episode on while wondering doing other things. Liked the episode. It wasnt Bs. It was pretty scientic. Watched a couple of more episodes was hooked. One of my favorite characters. John Daggot. After watching a couple of episodes I decided to give this tv series a shot. Having known many friends that were fans. Before I glanced at some episodes before I had watched any and given a shot. One thing I noticed I didnt like was the chemistry before Mulder and Scully. I just wanted them to F***! The sexual tension between the two is just too much for me. I remember going to the boards and asking if their relationship was a big part of show or the aliens which was the only thing I was interested in and everybody suggested not to watch the show since it was mostly about them. But since Ive given it a shot and with the new age of Bluray. I went crazy and made the decipline decision not to watch this show without it being the highest quality of bluray as I do with all shows and its new age of rereleasing many shows on its highest bluray. It wasnt easy to get but I got it. As I watched this show on bluray I was very impressed by its quality. The transfer is really amazing and noticably a lot better and a more enjoyable watch. Now I get the advertisement of trying to upsale and sometimes the difference isnt out of this world. But at least to me this show is much better on bluray and much more enjoyable. I had read the bluray review and that was one of the reasons I wanted to try it before the dvd or any other quality and they were right on points. Im not sure how is the other releases but I had the old tv format and back in the day when they had it on regular and the show didnt seem this top notch. Im talking about the first episodes way back then look amazing. They look stunning. On complete widescreen. You can see cristal clear everything. Scully beautiful hair, Their facial pores, every detail on screen standsout, the vivid forest, widescreen pretty much covers the whole screen. The audio is crystal clear. Watching the bluray made it more easier for me to become a fan. Both actors were pretty young when they first made this. Ive got some active links up to now if anyone is interested. One thing I do like about the show is how hard they try to keep to current events, true accuracy, locals, good actors, and not just the story between Dana, Fox.
