Hello.
I've been trying to remember the name of a film, (Probably short film, but I'm really not positive) that played every Christmas or Christmas Eve, but I believe Christmas morning around 7:00 AM in Australia.
I have some memories of this film and will state them below.
This film was about and man and his donkey in a desert. He may have been a wise man, but that was the way he was depicted, even if he was not an official wise man. He came across many obstacles in his journey, but the main part that I remember, is that every time he returned to his donkey, he would pull out a portable set of stairs and place them down to climb onto his donkey, then returned them to his bag or wherever he kept them. These stairs kept appearing throughout the film.
I apologise for the lack of information, and unsureness on some facts, but would love if someone recognised this and could tell me the name of this film from my childhood.
Thanks!

Can anyone identify this film?
A man is packing a suitcase for a train journey. His family ask him if he has packed his medication.
He says he has more than enough.
Later he rings home (probably from the train station) to say he's forgotten his medication and he collapses and dies.

Hello.
I am looking for the title of an anime movie from the 80s/early 90s.
It takes place in another planet with aliens who look humans and their world is futuristic but with their constitution being monarchy (they have a king, queen, etc). Someday, a mysterious egg-shaped spaceship (as big as a car) crash lands on the planet in a forest near the kingdom.
A few days later, the King starts acting erratic. he even kills his dog with a knife and enjoys it. This strange behavior spreads to the rest of the royal family and their court, with the exception of the twin children of the king, a boy and a girl.
There is a scene where a woman, I think she is like a ninja or samurai, discovers the egg-headed alien spaceship and she gets brutally attacked by it (I think she loses her arms and legs). She falls unconscious and then wakes up in the house of a male stranger. She asks him how he saved her.
There is another scene, where the son of the King finds himself trapped inside a force field in a room inside the palace, which starts shrinking around him. Luckily, he has a special cape which gives him intangibility when he wears it. He does that and escapes the force field, just before it crushes a bird inside its birdcage which was inside the room.
Eventually, the twins discover what is happening: the egg-head spaceship is actually an AI, she looks like a robotic Shiva. She has sent thousands of tiny spider-looking robots which can go inside the head of the people, allowing the AI to mind-control them. She has done that to other planets, visits them to spread chaos and war and ultimately destroy their civilizations with her robot army which she secretly assembles.
The twins also learn that they have a hidden power, which they can use together to destroy the robot army. The 3rd act has a final battle between the robot army, the remaining humans and the twins. Also the samurai woman appears, it is revealed that she is now a cyborg (that's how the man saved her). She activates a nuclear bomb inside her body, runs towards the robot army and exploded taking a big chunk of the robots with her.
Then the twins do a hand thing, I think they point their fingers towards the robot army, which activates their hidden power and a huge energy projectile leaves their hands and falls to the robots destroying them. But even that is not enough to stop the army.
The twins then go inside a spaceship and use it to escape their now doomed planet. The AI does the same thing, she mutters that her mission here is completed and she flies off the planet. The spaceship of the twins approaches a planet which looks like our Earth. They decide to settle there and start a new life. But unknowingly to them, the AI is following them near by
and the movie ends there.
anyone who had the patience to read all this, has any idea what is the name of the anime I am looking for?

Hello.
I am looking for the title of a drama about an orphaned boy.
It was made between the 60s and the 80s. It was in color. It was either a movie or a mini series. It was probably american or british. I think it was a period film, not set in the contemporary time the movie was made.
The movie was following the story of an orphaned white kid. At some point he was adopted by an asian man, either Chinese or Japanese, probably Japanese. The man had his own kids in his family and his wife hated the adopted kid.
I remember only one scene. The kid was eating with his stepmother. When he finishes, she asks him if he wants some more. The kid accepted and gives her his plate while telling her that he is still hungry. The woman picks the ladle, puts it in the kettle with the food, then hovers it above the kid's plate and very carefully she drops a single drop of gravy to the kid's plate. The kid looks at her with a confused look, then picks some bread, soaks the bread on the gravy and starts cleaning his plate with it and then he eats it.
I think the kid didnt stay in the asian family for long, and later he was adopted by another family.
and that's it.
anyone knows the title of the movie?
WARNING:
maybe I got it the wrong way, maybe it was actually an asian orphaned boy who was adopted by a white family. so keep that in mind.

Right, and that's kind of by design. IMDb owns our contributions; depending upon the type of contribution, that is. In certain ways, IMDb is like an encyclopedia or other reference works. You're probably not even supposed to be citing reference materials for your supposed research paper, but that depends upon what your audience requires.
Where can I find this information?
You won't be able to find the information. Sorry.

Hello,
I've seen a movie a few years ago - can't for the love of my life remember what the title was and any particular details of the plot. What I remember, though, is:

the movie was in English-language (I'd say probably UK, US or Canadian)

the plot was about a guy who couldn't die/get killed. He met some other guy, and I think they've either made a bet or the "invincible" guy promised the other guy some money if he killed him. The whole movie, however, was about futile attempts of the one man to kill the other, and the invincible one just coming back, although more battered and bruised each and every time.
I'd say it was a post-2000 movie, perhaps even post-2010 (not sure on that front, though).
Does anyone have virtually
any
clue what it might be? It's been bugging me for the past several days, but I just can't find the movie. HELP!!! And thanks to everyone who's going to be able to help me out

Hello.
I am looking for two music videos made in the 80s or early 90s.
What I can remember:
1.The first movie has an industrial aesthetic and is probably pop electronica. There is something like a circus show happening with robots. A man who wears a welding suit and a mask, operates the robots by moving some levels while standing on a podium. The robots are small in size and look like those retro robot toys. He gives a show in a big circus looking arena to a crowd of kids who cheer while the robots dance and do funny stuff.
Then the show ends and the man leaves the arena. The robots are still there silent. Two children from the audience, a boy and a girl, were hiding somewhere and after the man leaves, they go to the podium and start operating the levels. The robots start dancing but after a while they become uncontrollable and turn against the two kids who are scared and try to escape from there. Just in time, the man returns, uses the levels to take control of the robots and saves the children. and that's it.
2.This one I think is pop rock. It's set on the top of a hill in a sunny day. On the top of the hill, there is a big machine, it looks like a radar with its antenna aiming on the sky. There is an old guy, the inventor of the machine and his young assistant. A car appears with some men in it. They arrest the old man and they drive away from the top of the hill. The young assistant sits on the machine and starts operating it. The weather starts changing, the machine is a weather machine which controls the weather. Then it star ts raining heavily. The old man who is inside the car, sees rain and looks towards the rear windshield of the car towards the top of the hill and smiles. and that's it.
any idea what are the titles of those music videos/music songs? I tried Youtube and Google but my efforts were unsuccessful.
