She was in jail for 4 years for releasing a document that was being withheld by the Trump White House that showed Russians were targeting US voter systems in the 2016 election. After it was released election commissions were able to use the information to help better secure our elections. If the document would have remained top secret then none of that would have happened. It wasn't Reality Winner that did anything wrong, it was the Trump administration that was concealing the truth and putting the integrity of our elections in jeopardy. Reality Winner is an American hero.
