There were a few moments after the Demon left Micah's body where he could have been saved. I was hoping Danny would have saved his friend's life. I know he's only a character, but there was something so love-able about him!
Even when he was possessed, like the scene in the church where he's carving the wooden doll, and they show close-ups of his face. And where he's controlling the old lady's wheelchair, more close ups of his face. I don't know. there was something appealing and sexy about his Devil-like smirking and raised eyebrow when he was being naughty

The transformation sequence is mentioned on the DVD's audio commentary, in which they say it was filmed as part of later studio-based re-shoots and enhancements that took place when the film was picked up for a theatrical release instead of going direct to video as originally intended. This probably explains its absence from bootleg copies, which someone was complaining about on another thread. Bootleg copies probably represent the "unfinished" film before the pick-ups.

The missing stages further developed the horned demon face, but weren't used because the director deemed them to go "over the top." I have pretty much seen all the COTC movies (expect the recent one they made) but I don't remember seeing HWWBTR in any of the other movies.

Thats what I thought. At the start of the movie, it is implied he gets possessed by HWWBTR. So that would make sense. Its a shame really; Micah could have been a really nice guy and had nothing to do with the adult killings of the first movie. But he was basically killed graphically twice.

Danny was in a "Lesser of 2 Evils" Situation:He COULD`VE saved His Friend & leave His Father & Girlfriend to DIE OR help His Father & Girlfriend escape & leave His Friend to DIE & by The Time He FINALLY resolved to save Micah,The Poor Boy was ALREADY DEAD.

I hate thet scene too. Spoiler.He thought Micah and the others would kill him and them if he tried to free Micah,but after the demon left Micah's body,he could have tried to run to Micah and attempt to remove Micah's robe. Why was no one sad or angry the next day,when they had the funeral for Frank Red Bear? If I was Danny or either one of them,I'd be depressed and or angry about everything that happened the night before. Come on people you should have shown felt more emotions than that. Especially after hearing Micah cry out "Danny! Help me! You were my friend!" What is wrong with some people.

Tep He Who walks Behind the Rows possessed him at the beginning of the movie and just before poor sweet Micah was dragged into the harvester and turned into fertilizer his face changed to the demon and HWWBTR left his body and left him to die, the poor thing (can you tell I didn't like that scene?)
