<p dir="auto">I've read that the script was changed to fit caulkins demands. Also, was there a lot of footage changed? Does anyone know for sure? If so, what all was changed from the original script? Thanks</p>

<p dir="auto">As far as I'm concerned, this is ELIJAH's film. Mac takes a backseat. They both did a great job but if I was to give out an award, it would be Elijah's for sure!!!</p>

<p dir="auto">I remember hearing Culkin's father made the film focus on his character more and even tried to make him a sympathetic anti-hero. They only complied with the first, I think, and cut some of Elijah's scenes where he was back home.</p>

<p dir="auto">You should watch The Bad Seed made in the '50's. As a child actor Mccauley Culken was a great. Both movies are worth watching. Since the son was so young it's hard to tell if he is a sociopath or psychopath.</p>
