Reminds me of the time period after Dick Goddard, a Cleveland TV weatherman, left Cleveland to do a brief stint in Philadelphia. His replacement was an overweight guy named Wally Kinnan. My dad didn't like Wally Kinnan and called him "Wally Kinnoon the Weather Balloon."
