Was anyone else reminded of Leonard Peltier & Pine Ridge in the 70s by this film? (http://www.leonardpeltier.net/) There were SO many parallels, it was unbelievable.
Maybe he will finally be pardoned by our new presidentbut the problem is that this would involve getting the FBI to finally release the thousands of pages of documents on Peltier's caseand what motivation would they have for indicting themselves?

I was introduced to the Peltier story via Val Kilmer's movie 'Thunderheart'. As a child, that was one of my favorite movies, I soon learned it was based on the events at Pine Ridge. This has a very good documentary as well. I wish they would make a movie of Leonard Peltier to get more attention to the story.
