Leaving her husband laying on the sidewalk to go have dinner with the man who turned her into a whore was completely unforgivable and no man with a brain would have wanted her back. I guess in the end these two people deserved each other. Ugh.

Agreed. Never liked this movie, which tries to make you sympathize with them, but in the end you realize they are two POSs who I can happily watch wallow in their own despair and dysfunction because of their moronic choices.

I agree the wife's a monster. But re: the money. If it's a choice between working as a dishwasher or pursuing your dreams well, I'd probably go for it. (Ditch the slut later).

I agree. What man in his right mind would be okay with his wife sleeping with another man for money?

I agree. And I also think she was attracted to the Robert Redford character from the moment she saw him in the dress shop. When you bed down with a man for money you are a whore. This story line is dangerous in the way it depicts women. I know this film wouldn't be made today their would be to many woman and some men advocating against it's content.
