Which movie do you think is better? Mrs. Doubtfire or Tootsie? I like both movies. The first episode of Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre, The Tale of the Frog Prince starred 2 comedians from those 2 movies: Mrs. Doubtfire's comedian, Robin Williams and Tootsie's comedienne, Teri Garr.

I love both movies. Mrs. Doubtfire is great drama and comedy both, and Robin Williams is hilarious.
But Tootsie has Jessica Lang… she is SO mouth-watering BEAUTIFUL in that movie !!

Definitely Mrs. Doubtfire! The fact that I grew up with this movie probably plays a part in my preference, but I also thought that Dorothy Michaels was rather painful to watch, and not even close to passing as an actual woman. It felt as if she would have been a better fit as a character on Kids in the Hall or something.

but for different reasons. Doubtfire was a harm felt family movie. Tootie was a movie about a family man who was hated by his peers and bosses, and had to make changes to feed his family.

Gotta go with Tootsie. It was flawless and far superior.

There are a few films that are like the crossroads between Mrs. Doubtfire and Tootsie:
The Tale of the Frog Prince episode of Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre with Robin Williams as the Frog Prince and Teri Garr as the Princess which is my favorite one.
Hook with Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook and Robin Williams as Peter Pan
A Simple Wish with Mara Wilson as Anabel Greene and Teri Garr as Hortense's receptionist, Rena
But which one is the real crossroads between Mrs. Doubtfire and Tootsie?

So you like both Robin Williams' 1993 family comedy, Mrs. Doubtifre and Teri Garr's 1982 family comedy, Tootsie?

I enjoy
Mrs. Doubtfire
, but
Tootsie
is definitely the superior film and performances.
