I would like everybody's thoughts about this, but here are a couple of thoughts have come to my mind tonight, and I would like to see what you all think as well. If Daniel Hillard had kept to the script like the director wanted, and didn't get have to quit or get fired, and he and Miranda still needed to get divorced, would the judge had given joint custody to both Daniel and Miranda, instead of giving full custody to Mranda, and then visitation rights to Daniel Hillard on Saturdays only. But then again there would be no reason for him to disguise himself as Mrs Doubtfire then. Which would have made the movie boring if a lot of the events in this movie didn't happen or happened differently, cause then what could they have done for a story?

Well, obviously, there wouldn't be a story. But yes, I feel if Daniel had managed to hold on to his job, the judge would've seen fit to grant him joint custody.
Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.
