Just because Van Damme is in it doesn't automatically make it a bad movie. If another actor starred in the film it definitely would be ranked higher. I thought the story was very good; it really drew me in. It was not a typical action movie; in fact, the action scenes were kinda weak. The movie definitely focused on the story.
At the very least it should be 5.5

Absolutely freaking agree!
In the beginning (should I also say height) of his career, he was a horrendous actor. That didn't stop me from being a fan. With that said, this movie has always eluded me and I finally watched it today. I find it good, so I rushed on IMBD to see if others were of the same opinion. Disappointed that it got only 4.7 ratings. Should be a 6.5 at least.

I just saw it and I gave it an 8. It's a top-notch movie, it most certaintly doesn't deserve a 4.8.

I gave it a 7, it deserves 6 at worst and I could fully understand people giving it better ratings. This is a very cool flick
