Solid B- and I love and have seen many Westerns. It could have done with being slightly grittier.
Its certainly no High Noon, The Searchers or up there with Sergio Leone's best oaters but it is a solid piece of entertainment that I enjoy re-watching.
It helps that it has an absolutely stacked cast. Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott, Kurt Russell, Powers Boothe and Bill Paxton are all amongst my favourite actors.
