First off I would like to say I actually enjoyed the movie. It may have been because I saw it unexpectedly a few months after reading some of the posts here. My expectations were so low I actually really enjoyed it. I think the action was pretty good, the homour was good. Rosewood was awesome again and I also really did not miss Taggert. Also the scenes were he is tracking the bad guys down through the amusement park is pretty cool. Especially when he is stuck in the ice ride.
Much like Rush Hour 3 if they elminated points from the plot the movie could have been really good.
(1) Eliminate the parts with Serge. The whole scene was boring which led to the incredibly dumb bazooka gun thing which led to an incredibly dumb end scence with the bazooka gun. Which led to the even dumber scence when he used the flashlight on a key chain he got from Serge. All 3 parts I hated in the movie could have been eliminated if they just did not put Serge in the movie.
(2) A bit more Improv. Like some of the other posts I read I was really dissapointed when Murphy paid for his admission to get into the theme park. In Part 2 the guy pretended to have a bomb that would go off with the slightest noise. He also pretended to be gay in the first one in order to get into a resteraunt. It would have been cool to see him get in to the park in a more clever way than paying.
In my opinion eliminating Serge from the movie was all you really had to do to make the movie great as it would have allowed Murphy to kill the bad guys more realistically in the final scene.
I guess you guys should add some more points to the list to what you think you could have eliminated or changed to make the movie better.

Flashlight key scene made me cry from laughing because Landis is parodying an action hero. Here Axel is not prepared but led on by the crook and suddenly realises bewildered that he has this weapon.

Jerry Bruckheimer should of produced the movie like he did the first and second No way in hell he would of let that script be filmed. Say what you will about Bruckheimer, the man can make a good popcorn movie.

I liked Serge. They needed to get rid of Landis, Flint, and the love interest. Then bring back Cox, Ashton and Reiser, it would have been great.

(3) - John Landis.
