The score in this movie isn't very good, especially compared to the Axel F theme and it's variations from the earlier films. I can't help when watching a lot of the action scenes in this movie (like the malfunctioning ride part or the scene underground when the park employees start shooting at Axel) that the original BHC theme would have made these scenes twice as good as they seem now. The score they used seems cheap and silly. I think it's a lot of the reason this film bothers me.

Agreedthe score for this film stands out like a sore thumb just like how the rest of this movie doesn't "feel" like parts 1 and 2. Hearing a humourous/comedy version of the Axel theme during one of the lighter scenes was like a slap in the face to Faltmeyer! I agree with previous posts, just sounds like a cheap score from a cable movie.

Good call. I always thought the score reminded me of a direct to video (USA productions type) release. This is, by far, the worst in the series. Hope part 4 will be more like the old days of AF.
