I just re-watched this for the first time since it was new and I really enjoyed it! Probably the best sequel after part 2!
However, I live in Nebraskaand although "Gatlin" doesn't actually exist, I can tell you Chicago is a LOT further from Nebraska than 70 miles. ANY WHICH WAY YOU GO it would take aleast 8 hours by car. In the film the older brother DRIVES to Gatlin and back in the course of an afternoon (as the sign says: 70 miles) to grab that bible. And in the film itself, it's portrayed like it only took an hour or two. It makes NO SENSE, but I'm willing to overlook that because this was a damn good sequel regardless.
The sweet little children of Gatlin have chained the door!
