I am making up a horror exam for my friends, as we are all total horror fanatics, and I need to know if the third entry in the Children of the Corn series was released theatrically. Does anyone know? Please let me know.

I think the special effects at the end where the monster picks up the kids was rediculous! It look like claymation beast picking up plastic barbie dolls. Jeez!

That is good it was in theaters, even for a short time and all of this time I thought it went directly to vhs/dvd.

i may be one of the few that actually saw it in the therates. About a week after release it was in the dollar therates, and i saw it there.

It had a limited run, but it was released theatrically. There's a Stephen King movies book that will give you all the info. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name off-hand.
