Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen a better pairing between Ellen Muth and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Not only do they look so much alike in the film, but there are scenes where Ellen Muth sounds
just
like JJL.
There are a lot of films where a child actor and adult actor playing the same character barely resemble one another, but this film sticks out in my mind for having one of the most realistic pairings I've ever seen. Is it just me?

yeah they were like same person in childhood and teen.While i watched this movie for a moment i was like OMG how the hell director showed jennifer jason leigh teen.

I agree MsLadybird99. Mayim Bialik did a great job as a young "CC/Bette Midler" and looked just like her.
Another good pairing that comes to mind is the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks/David Moscow.
