There's rumors floating around saying Jared Leto has been cast as Lestat in the Interview with a Vampire "Reboot"? I hate that Hollywood has run out of ideas and has resorted to rebooting everything, that being said I don't hate the casting choice if there is going to be a reboot.

From what I've read that's exactly what they're going to do. The film will be based around The Vampire Lestat with elements from Interview and QOTD. I hope they're not going to leave out Nicolas though.

I don't mind remakesbut when they are of films that came out 20 years ago and star actors who are still relevant, active, and popular today? Ehh, I don't see the point. Why not wait another 10 years, or just make a movie about Lestat like someone else mentioned.

If a reboot is in the works then Jared Leto would make a good Lestat. Maybe they should just make a Lestat movie, he has his own book.

I would have muched preferred Jared Leto and River Phoenix as the two leads in the original film rather than Cruise and Pitt whom I didn't like at all.
