I don't want to see the TV epic version unless they make Louis female. I see enough dicks on Westworld.

Since this is being made into a TV series, she'll have far more free reign. If she was intending to make a Hollywood movie, then she'd come up against some criticism.
There is nothing in the books that's overtly explicit, sexually speaking anyway. But no one can deny there are some heavy homoerotic scenes. Since she's made it clear she has no interest in going with a major network. That way she doesn't have to play by their rules. HBO and Netflix have already showed major interest in the project. Two very prominent and brilliant choices for her to have to play with, I think. Both won't have any issues with sexual content or nudity. You just have to look at their shows to know that.

As much as I agree with everything else you have said. Rice can say now what she wants, that doesn't mean the studios will go along with it.

I'm not opposed to female nudity. Far from it! But at the same time I don't have a problem with male nudity, which it seems, you do. Why would you want a character to change their gender, simply for your enjoyment? These books have a huge following. Fans want the books to stick to their original source material. They'd be an uproar if Anne randomly decided to make Louis female. Especially, purely for the male gaze.
Have you read these books? Hopefully you know by now that Anne has stated that they're starting with the second book in the chronicles, which is, The Vampire Lestat. She's happy enough with the original film and doesn't see the point of retelling Interview With The Vampire again.
Furthermore, if you have such reservations over male nudity. How are you going to deal with all the homoerotic scenes within these books. Which there are MANY. The film version of Interview With The Vampire really didn't go into Louis, Lestat or Armand's, shall we say, romantic relationships. The book was far more blatant. The only scene within the film that was more obvious was the scene between Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas, nearing the end of the film. Anne has already said that she won't be cutting any scenes this time around.

Female nudity is rampant? The more female nudity the better

Ummcompare female nudity against male nudity. Female nudity is rampant in so many shows today! Yet you have a problem with the slightest bit of male nudity. Get ready for some more coming your way.
When it comes to casting, which Anne says she will be heavily involved with, she doesn't have a specific person in mind for Lestat, aside from him being six feet tall, [with] blonde hair and blue eyes. But she does have a hope for Louis: White Collar, American Horror Story actor Matt Bomer. Furthermore, for Marius she's set her eyes on Matthew MacFadyen of the UK series Ripper Street.

When IWTV was in development, at one point they planned to rewritte the Louis character by changing his sex to female and Cher and Anjelica Houston were considered to play this role until Brad Pitt was cast and decided to keep Louis as a male.
I wonder if they portrayed Louis as a female in the 1994 film as it was planned at one point, they would have probably renamed the character as Louise or something like that.
