Her and the cast in general were ok.
I think low imdb score is undeserving. Movie is genial.

Didn't care much for this, but the late very great Madeline Kahn almost made it worthwhile.
Only two things are actually knowable:
It is now and you are here. All else is merely a belief.

Oh wowI can't tell you how much I LOVE this movie. As does my sister, and my mother, and every Christmas we all watch it at the same timethey back home in Kentucky, and me here in Australia, and all 3 of us are on the phone, absolutely HOWLING with laughter. Most other people I know just don't find it funny, but I think they try to find some deep profound meaning in it, and continuosly look for clever humour, but it just isn't there. It' basic, simple, direct (almost slapstick-like) humour. I mean, the movie is pointless. It's stupid. Not at all hard to followplease! But, for me and the family, that's what makes it so great!
Mrs. Munchnick is my favourite, followed extremely closely by Chris. And then of course the rest of the cast all combinedI just find it hilarious. I never get sick of watching it. But I save it for Christmas, on a day my husband is at work, so I can watch it while on the phone with mom and sis. (closest I get to spending Christmas with them when I can't be there!)
My sister and I went to see it at the movies when it came out, despite the poor ratings. We were the only ones in the theater, and it was a good thing, because we absolutely were roaring with laughter.
The elevator scene, the dancing scene, the obscene caller scene, the fruit cake sceneOMG where do I start.
When we saw it at Blockbuster, we rented it and brought it home to show mom, thinking she's probably think it was too dumb to sit throughthinking she'd put it up there with the Ace Ventura movies. But we were wrong, she LOVED it!
I can't wait to watch it "with them" this weekend.
