Actually Madeline Kahn's last film was a great indie flick called 'Judy Berlin.' Check it out, she's wonderful in it.

yeah i pretty much go along those lines as well, for me being 9-10 is amazing or a fave, 8 great, 7 really good, 6 above average, 5 average/mediocre, 4 below average and so on and so forthfor most people you would think the 1/10 movies they would never even end up seeing as most movies that bad would probably never even see a theater releaseit really cracks me up when i click on a movies viewer ratings to see for every movie on here there are thousands of people who vote a 1 or 10as if just because a movie doesn't particularly match their tastes it is automatically one of the worst movies ever made lol

You are right deadbunny..I think the rating system on here is so skewed as to be borderline ridiculous.
If someone doesn't like a movie they say they Hate it..which is a powerful word then they give it a one starand if they love it, they give it a 6 or 7. Only young children talk in extremes like that. And IMDb is way out of line with other rating movie sites..no one uses 10 stars and mainly for that reason. It becomes ridiculous. I have never given anything one star and maybe only one got a 3 star. I rate between 5-10 pretty much all the time and I use the same criteria as Netflix does, if I loved it, it gets a 8-10 star rating..mediocre gets 6-7 and if I didn't like it much it gets a 5 unless it is really atrocious or has terrible acting. I gave The Tourist a 4 star rating because not only was it badly written but the stars, Depp and Jolie were way out of their league on it.
Mixed Nuts got an 8/10 from me. I never see something I really wouldn't like at all. I don't like "B" movies either. Who'd a thunk Depp and Jolie would've stunk so badly in a movie, and I paid full price for that movie tix too.

lol if crash is the worst movie you have seen you must have seen like two filmsoverrated yes, but "worst movie i've ever seen" i just have to laugh when people say silly stuff like thatsure the academy is dead wrong sometimes, but the movie has to be at least a 2/10 quality to win best pic even with terrible tastes, i mean surely something that wins best pic has to be better than a 1/10 caliber movie even if it is terrible

So, you really tried to dislike it? Why? I thought it was great, I don't understand the 4.8 rating at all. Then again, Crash is the worst movie I've ever seen and it won best picture

It barely misses the mark as a really funny comedy; but it is still very entertaining. Revised: I still stand by my comment but since I watch it every single Christmas season it must have more going for it than I originally thought.
