I really think that Mixed Nuts is a remake of a French film Pre Nol est une ordure, Le (1985), which means Santa Claus is trash. Check that title, read about it and you'll see. Same story line. And in spite of the fact that it's listed as being a TV movie in this very site, here in Qubec, it was largely seen in theatres and, of course, later on T.V. Has anybody else noticed or knew about that? I won't say that the original is better or worse: I think it's always a matter of opinion, background, knowledge of other languages, etc.

You are right it is a remake of "Le pere noel est une ordure"
The french version is more funny, better dialogue.
But this version is not bad, not to be compared with the french
version. As of today December 23, in Montreal they are playing
both version on the movie chanel.

I went to the film here, but there was no plot to be found. Any idea where I might find it?
