The movie was a hit, Vamme was at the height of his success, I wonder why there was never talk of a sequel? Eventually in 2003 there was a direct to video sequel, but there should of been a proper follow up sooner. Van Damme should of done Timecop 2 instead of Universal Soldier: The Return.
