I'm still hoping for another Outer Limits series, but in the meantime, Black Mirror is a great alternative. I'd recommend it to any Outer Limits fan. You can stream all THE episodes currently on Netflix. They haven't made very many, but they are working on more.

I think 'Stream of Consciousness' is a subject matter that is very much in line with Black Mirror. However, BM would do it without the "happy" ending (resolution).

Pretty much all episodes are stand alone. There are a handful of sequel episodes too. Take a look at the top rated episodes.
My personal favorite is Final Exam.

I was referred to watch this show from the BM message boards. Problem is, I don't have the time to watch 150+ episodes of this. Is it the kind of show where each episode stands alone? If so, would anyone care to share a short list of their favorite episodes so I can make sure to watch just them? 150 isn't manageable but one or two dozen is.

My brother introduced me to Black Mirror. Some of the episodes were better than others but its definitely quality. I just caught up on all 3 Twilight Zone series'. I dont think Outer Limits is as good as TZ but its in the same ballpark.
