Stitch in Time - **** 1/2
Classic episode with an intriguing premise, one of the highlights of the season.
Resurrection - ****
Too heavy-handed in symbolism, but overally I enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere and fun to see Heather Graham in her role.
Unnatural Selection - *** 1/2
Nice premise, nicely executed, with some flaws.
I Hear You Calling - ****
Great suspense and an interesting twist (again, I really like the positive message).
Mind Over Matter - ***
Interesting concept, but otherwise an average episode with a predictable twist.
Beyond the Veil - ** 1/2
One Flew Over the UFO Nest Too much theatrics for too little story. But I like that the ending is totally ambigous.
First Anniversary - ****
Again, a classic and well-done episode.
Straight and Narrow - ***
Average episode, nice suspense at some points.
Trial By Fire - *****
My very favourite from this season. A classic masterpiece.
Worlds Apart - **
A low-key melodrama without anything interesting going on.
The Refuge - *** 1/2
I enjoyed the twist and the great performance M. Emmet Walsh.
Inconstant Moon - **
A great premise executed badly. I almost fell asleep in boredom.
From Within - ** 1/2
A rehash of the "Body Snatchers" concept, saved by a fine performance by Neil Patrick Harris.
The Heist - * 1/2
The worst episode of the season, a silly monster hunt with a completely uninteresting monster.
Afterlife - ***
Average episode with a fine performance by Clancy Brown.
The Deprogrammers - ****
I enjoyed it and Brent Spiner did a nice job.
Paradise - ** 1/2
Overally silly and too melodramatic, but had its moments.
The Light Brigade - ****
A fine follow-up to "A Quality of Mercy", I throughoutly enjoyed it.
Falling Star - **
Another weak episode, a bad copy of "Quantum Leap", but without the charm of Bakula and Stockwell.
Out of Body - **
Again, a good concept executed badly.
Vanishing Act - **
Had its moments but again, badly executed and predictable.
The Sentence - ****
A fine episode with a potent message and a great performance by David Hyde Pierce. Although the ending was truly predictable.
OVERALL RATING: 3,11
"A voice from behind me reminds me. Spread out your wings you are an angel."
