Wanted to come to this board one last time before the boards are closed. Always enjoyed this thread and all the funny moments in Casino. With De Niro being my favorite actor & Scorsese being my favorite director, this is one of my favorite films. Thanks to everyone who kept the board alive and for everyone who brought negativity to IMDB, there's a hole waiting in the desert for you.

The scene when They're playing golf and the airplane has to land on the fairway. Then they all start taking shots at the plane.
James Woods entire character is priceless!
Love the cheesy intro to Sams TV show and the sidekick/announcer who's clearly hired for her looks. When she says "Aces High" she's all out of tune. And in the intro the dude at the pool checking out the chics. So funny! Any moment you expect to see Bart Braverman walk through the shot haha!
The comparison of blueberry muffins and how Sams has like 1 blueberry.

You gotta dig the hole in the desert BEFORE you get there. Otherwise it takes 40 minutes and who knows who could show up in that time. You end up having to dig holes for them too and you could be there all beep night!

I think the two funniest things that immediately come to my mind are the blueberry muffin scene and when Ginger is saying something like "I shoudla never married a gemini!"

Fncking hilarious.. I always thought that scene with Joe & Sharron looked awkward

Frank Marino's, "smarten up" with a finger point as they walk away from the guy him and Nicky have just collected from.

*And the lady dealing before that smiling at Nicky

Then when she throws her hands in the air as she leaves, and Nicky does the same thing.
*When Sam is ignoring Nicky at the restaurant
Frank: They're having a good time!
Nicky: Yeah?So are we.
They just sit there staring at Sam's table

The scene where lil Joe Pesci is sitting on the couch with big Sharon Stone. Pesci is so short they had to have him sit on the armrest on the couch so that he can at least be at her eye level.
Also when Pesci is playing black jack and he keeps flipping the cards back at the dealer

I have several funny moments.

• Nicky beating up and insulting the hick who had his feet up the table
• The whole scene of Nicky in the Casino playing blackjack insulting the dealer when he was 86'ed from the place
• Piscano's rant in his grocery store
• The copious amounts of profanity from Nicky when he berates Sam in the desert
  Just to name a few.

I would like to addLester yelling at Amy, and Amy sticks her tongue out at Lester for a split second.

For me, the funniest scene is where Nikky is talking to Frankie with their usual discretion (hands over mouths as they walk and talk) and an extra walks right into the scene. Pesci goes, "Look at this guy." Scorcese decided to leave it in and am I glad he did. I look forward to it and howl every time.
The other funny scene is the one with Scorcese's mom, trying to calm her son down who is ranting and raving as she's counting money. She never fails to make me laugh. I miss her.

These are all funny moments.
Another one is when Ginger is yelling"because HE'S been threatening me" Heck, any of the sequences where she leaves Sam are funny.

Remo telling Frankie to "tell them totake care of things a little better out there". LOL great leadership. Totally backed up Nicky's comment about how the bosses were so out of touch with reality and just wanted to collect their suitcases full of cash.

When Ginger steals the keys from the desk and keeps asking the cop if he's watching for Sam, and then breaths a heavy sigh of relief when she gets them; also how the camera freezes on them for a moment.

The look on the chef's face was priceless. "Do you have any idea how long that's going to take?"
