I finally saw this movie, twelve years after reading about it in Film Threat magazine. Listen, my fellow Americans, don't believe that just because it was never released in the U.S. it is no good. It's pretty damn good, really. More production values than a barrel full of Seagal or Van Damme movies, in fact, this one has really nothing in common with that kind of crap other than Mark Dacascos has been unfairly relegated to the Z list DTV actioner. As long as you can go with the ultra melodramatic pulpiness, then this will be a fun ride.
Does anybody out there know why it never got a U.S. release?

Had Jason Scott Lee not turned it down, it would have got a U.S. release.
