<p dir="auto">That didn't come into my mind; but that's an interesting comparison.<br />
Note also that one of the marshals is named Lee, and the other is named Marvin  –  i.e., Lee Marvin! Jarmusch is actually a founding member of the tongue-in-cheek secret society called 'The Sons of Lee Marvin'. The sole entry requirement for the club is that one must have a physical resemblance to plausibly look like a son of Marvin.<br />
