<p dir="auto">Oh it's definitely either this and True Lies.<br />
After 96 until The Matrix in 99 there is this awkward period where CG is used but it still looks like ass, and it's most just CGI over regular film so it looks extra garbage. The Matrix is the first to reverse it and use CG backgrounds with actors over top of it. That eventually leads us to now where everything is just CG entirely regenderd on its own using some footage.</p>
