Don't get me wrong, Die Hard 2 was pretty good but I think this one got closer to the first movie and is the best of the Die Hard sequels. This really should've stayed as a trilogy as it got progressively worse after this movie. Live Free was entertaining but felt less like a Die Hard movie and Die Hard 5 was just awful. This one had alittle Dark Knight Rises going for it with the hero beginning the film broken down and upset over losing a girl then being coached back into the job to deal with a villain that has ties to the first film. Die Hard With A Vengeance should be given a lot more praise than it received from critics.
You guys should see the marathon I did with this film titled When Heroes Fall And Rise Again. You can check it out on my blog.

Die Hard With a Vengeance and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade are my top votes for No. 3 sequels.
I actually preferred part 5 to part 4 though. The villain in part 4 was an idiot left over from a tv series and the whole V-TOL aircraft scene was completely stupid and non-convincing. The CGI was terrible.

I actually prefer With a Vengeance over the first movie. The fifth one is absolutely unwatchable. I like 1-2 pretty much the same and I dig the fourth one quite a bit, but Die Hard 3 is an absolute masterpiece, one of the most unique action films ever made. It's one of my favorites.
