I thought this was a very funny movie. Clever, well cast and well acted. It is an not too subtle spoof of the movie industry,
So why is it rated so low? Is the humor too subtle?

I have always felt this is one of the very best movies of the 90s, an easy 10/10.

Yes, I totally agree. Everything comes together perfectly with this movie and if you asked me to name any faults I don't know I could come up with any. Just the fact it's one of the few movies I can watch again anytime tells me it's exceptional.
