Didn’t Powerline have any George Michael or Boy George traits Or was that just me? I could tell he had a lot of Prince in him as well as Michael Jackson

A little over 20 years later and after the tragic death of Prince Rogers Nelson, I am reminded of how much joy this film brought in our household. Tevin Campbell, the actor that voiced Powerline worked with Prince in the film Under the Cherry Moon. Also the back-up singer Rosie Gaines who sings the harmonies and back-up in the Goofy Movie's show-stopper, "I-2-I" also performed extensively with Prince. So, I like to believe that the role is an homage to His Royal Badness, Prince.
Powerline's costume , on the other hand , is totally stolen from DEVO!
The songs "I 2 I" and "Stand Out" were performed by R&B singer Tevin Campbell, and co-written by Prince

He came off as more sexual than MJ, so in that way I think more like Prince. Then again his overall look and dance moves (the backward dancing was very moonwalk) seemed more MJ esque.

I actually think his songs sound more like Prince, in the car the guitar riffs sound like something Prince would play, but in the movie he doesn't play the guitar. I conclude he is a perfect mix of Michael and Prince.

I am the prototype
