Who do they call? The defunded police?

If there are problems with the police system, then they'd want to fund them
more.
It doesn't make sense to defend an organisation they feel is broken.
They didn't "defend the schools" when public school systems were failing. You fund them more.
It goes to show they just don't like the police in general.
