18 years old and people still come on here to demonize a film.

• Malik is not portrayed as a perfect person, the majority of the film focuses on his own immaturity and unwillingness to accept his own faults.
• Remy is portrayed as the most tragic figure in the film. The man isn't racist, he's an outsider that hasn't been able to identify with anybody. No group openly accepts him as he is as quickly as he wants to be until he runs into the brotherhood. You give a person that's easily swayed a figure to direct his anger at and he'll believe whatever you want him to believe in.

you dont know? For the past 20 years or so, in movies, it's been the cool/popular thing to make white people look racist/dumb/cruel, etc

Because it is a John Singleton movie, and his movies usually follow the same theme - black people are good and oppressed while all white people are frightened racists.
