Why did the director decide to throw in dances with wolves story lines about halfway through the film? Its like he said ah screw it we dont have enough story lines to make this movie, The dog instead of a wolf, a women, indians, bounty hunters coming instead of the military men. I mean 45 minutes in i thought this was dances 2. I still like the film though.

why not. If they are going to assume we are going to buy all the plot holes, bad acting, and absurd stories, they may as well pull at our dances with wolves heart strings and try to make a buck.
