However, I think Walken was an idiot for wanting it to happen in a glass elevator he was riding in.
That really was a bizarre idea, but Smith was clearly a sandwich or two, short of a picnic hamper.

It would have been damned easy. The hard part is getting away with it. That was not Walken's concern though. he didn't care if Depp got the electric chair after doing it. His only concern was that it get done.
However, I think Walken was an idiot for wanting it to happen in a glass elevator he was riding in. Depp shoots governor, aides tackle Depp, Depp's trigger finger keeps pulling and bullets are flying around, glass elevator shatters, scufflers start plummeting to their deaths
Not exactly the best location to observe an assassination.
