<p dir="auto">dude i forgot all about this movie. i can't remember when i saw it but i know it was well over ten years ago. maybe even in the 90s. turned on the TV today and BAM there it was again. i don't know why this one slipped my mind; it has a lot of suspense, turns and twists.<br />
i say it has a lot of hitchcock in the film. keeps you wondering every single minute what will happen next.<br />
just now found out from reading the boards here that this was the inspiration for 24. .never heard that.<br />
but in any case, i like this film. i recommend it. not sure why all the hate and criticism on this board. my only criticism is using marsha mason, b/c i can't stand her for some reason. dunno why. i can think of a dozen other 50ish milfs they coulda used instead of her. she just creeps me out for some reason</p>

<p dir="auto">Agreed! Way to pick up on that..Badham made effective use of clock closeups, lights &amp; shadows that it did take on that Hitchcockian effect now that you mention it. Never heard that connected to this movie before but totally agree w/you.</p>
