What in gay hell?

My favorite quote isn't exactly a quote but a mention of fashion columnist Diana Vreeland. When I first saw this movie and heard Vreeland's name mentioned I thought it was funny because I read about her in the
Andy Warhol Diaries
book. Worhol mentions Vreeland throughout the book and makes her out to be an aggressive old drunk with a foul mouth. Just the idea of Vida and Noxie actually meeting and speaking with Vreeland while she's staggering and swearing with a cocktail in her hand is hilarious.

I can't remember the exact quote but when Vida told Noxeema that she looked like Moms Mabley before she became fabulous. If you don't know what Moms Mabley looks like, google her. That was hilarious.

Sheriff Dollard going on about men having sex while he's sitting at the bar. That whole moment with him thinking out loud, and him getting emotional always kills me.

Vida: What in gay hell?
Noxeema: I hope she leaves me those albums in her will.
Noxeema: You were the smartest in your class weren't you?

Noxeema and Chi Chi had the best lines, but Vida had a few good ones.

I adore this movie. I absolutely, positively adore this movie.

Yeah, I'm Mexican and normally would find that Menudo comment very offense, but I find it hilarious everytime I hear it. The comment about running for the border cracks me up too.
