<p dir="auto">Did you mean to say "why"? I think they're just showing how impolite Rimbaud is in comparison to his family. His family is neat and proper while Rimbaud plays the little rebel by breaking their perfect harmony. If you read about the actual Rimbaud, he used to follow in his family's example and be well-behaved, but something to do with the war caused him to change. Can't remember what it was exactly.</p>
