<p dir="auto">I completely agree with you.  I think a lot of it is because this movie is still largely a hidden gem.  I still hear/read many comments from people who have seen Tremors and have no idea any sequels were made.  Tremors 2 is a fantastic movie and it deserved a theatrical release.  When you watch 99% of straight to dvd movies, especially sequels, you learn instantly why they never had a theatrical release.  Tremors 2 is a very rare exception.  A great movie, most people don't know it exists, and a straight to dvd title with greater quality than most movies that get to the theater.<br />
Tremors 2 to me is a lot like Captain Ron.  Very small movies that most people have never heard of.  Both are amongst my all time favorites.</p>
