<p dir="auto">I remember watching the original back when network TV mini-series were almost as important to entertainment as summer blockbusters. Ted Danson provided both a comical and dramatic performance that made this mini-series awesome.<br />
Every time it shows on cable/satellite I have to watch it. There's just something great about the way it unfolds and is displayed on screen.<br />
Too bad the same can't be said for the Jack Black abomination made for theaters.<br />
